Audrey Tautou

Audrey Tautou was born in Beaumont in the French city of Puy-de Domme on 8 August 1976. She was fourth child in the family. Her parents were dentists and teacher recognized and backed her passion for acting and theatre as early as she was a child. This was more important than a desire to become a primatologist thanks to her passion for monkeys. At the age of a young lady rising to the heights of fame was fast and punctuated by early achievement. After her graduation in 1998, she was a participant in a French program for scouting talent on TV called Jeunes Premiers which was sponsored by Canal+ and won Best Young Actress at the Beziers Festival of Young Actors prior to beginning her acting career in earnest. Tautou was educated at in the Institut Catholique de Paris, and attended the Catholic Church as an infant. But she's since distanced herself with this background. The actress claims she's not necessarily Catholic. The model pursued her career along with her acting career. She is the face of L'Oreal Mont Blanc and Chanel sometimes referred to as the Chanel Muse. Also, she has an intense interest in photography and recently put on an exhibit of photography at the Arles Festival, titled Superficial. In her photographs, she concentrates on celebrities and fame. The camera's lens is focused towards journalists who are examining the actress since her unexpected popularity. Audrey Tautou rose to fame and stardom with her major performance in Le Fabuleux of Amelie Poulain. Amelie is a huge box office hit internationally and was a cult hit at numerous ceremony awards around the world. The film is still one of the top-performing French language movie to date in the US. The film's popularity led to Tautou's appearance in an array of movies ranging from British dramatics such as Stephen Knight's Dirty Pretty Things to Jean-Pierre Jeunet's film Un long Sunday de fiancailles before moving to Hollywood under the direction of Ron Howard of The Da Vinci Code, a Dan Brown bestseller The Da Vinci Code alongside Tom Hanks.
