Selena Quintanilla Perez was an American performer from America. She was a highly successful singer whose music had an Texan rhythm. She was birthed on April 16, 1970 in Lake Jackson Texas. Though she was born in the United States and her first language was English, she always sang in Spanish. Selena was born into a family who was happy, affectionate and with Hispanic heritage. Selena Quintanilla was raised in a happy and loving family of Hispanic origin. Abraham Quintanilla also was a musician, although he received less fame as his son. The family of Selena realized how talented she was and wanted to help her, they made every effort so that she would take advantage of her talents and grow.
